A fairly long-day walk of 15 miles taking in Wendover Woods, Tring Park, the Grand Union Canal, Wendover Arm Canal and back to Wendover. Take a superb pub-stop at the Grand Junction Arms. Walk can be accessed by train, bus or parking in Wendover. Snack or meal on the way or after in the splendid town/village ofWendover .

 

A medium day walk, sometimes hilly, but worth it for taking in the splendid South Downs. With a pack-lunch at Sissbury ring, the Monarchs Way, South Downs Way and a river-side path along the Arun & back to Lancing. Walk can be accessed by several bus routes & a train station at Shoreham with a wealth ofpubs, cafes and restaurants,

 

A short walk of just a few hours that can be easily extended on to Shillingford Bridge taking in the Thames Path. Dinner or snack at the superbly located Waterside Bistro & Bar at Benson Marina will add to the time........ and enjoyment!

 

A 3 hour, or more with stop(s), 7.5 mile comfortable walk taking in a stretch of the Thames Path, a choice of 4 pubs, a lock-side cafe, gradual ascents, rich woodland and stunning views!

 

A good 2-3 hours /8 mile circular walk with ascents, woodland paths and open fields with lovely views. Cafe in the Woods some 2/3rds of the way round with only a short 2 mile descent back to your start at Wendover

 

A splendid  9.5 mile walk taken over the whole day to take in the vistas, nice pub at 5 miles and an excellent cafe at the end. Hilly, as the name says, but options if you don't want to do (all) peaks.

 

A stroll or brisk flat walk from theChurchill Square bus stand along the sea-front passing by the Brighton Marina and following the under-cliff footpath to Rottingdean, returning by bus.

An all-day walk with a lunch stop, along this  beautiful part of the  South Wales coast. It's got hills, views, a world famous beach and of course,a proper pub half-way.
